Message Make sure the ignition timing is steady
I would also check the timing belt and gears to verify everything is on time and didn't jump a tooth

Did this start happening out of no-where or did you change something recently and the problem showed up?

Maybe see if the problem changes or goes away when you unplug the vtc solenoids
